This series is one that I’m really passionate about, because I put it together through my own experimentation and research for healing and restoring my body after giving birth to Aya. I worked with different pelvic health physiotherapists in Singapore, as well as deep dived into postpartum healing with various professionals and courses to create this series - which I affectionately call a ‘Postpartum’ foundation — postpartum being a mother-centric term. Because, this course is really about the mother! Connecting you to your body, mind and emotions, finding acceptance where you are now and empowering you to discover more and more vibrancy as you go along this journey. Now you can have access to this series from the comfort of your own home, at your own pace!

FIRST STEP

HOW WILL WE DO THIS VIRTUAL SERIES, LONG-DISTANCE, TOGETHER? 

There are 4 classes, each 75 min, and each class containing about 10-15min talk and around 60min of practice. In the Live versions, we meet once weekly to practice these classes together. As you will be participating via recording, you can really go at whatever pace suits you (but will take more discipline on your part! :)). I will send you the first video, and you can let me know as you finish it and are ready for the next one. I do recommend that you give at least 5-7 days in between each video so you can allow it to integrate and maybe practice a few exercises. Of course if you need more time, you can always let me know.

WHAT KIND OF INTERACTION CAN WE HAVE TOGETHER? 

I’m available by What’s App or email to answer any questions as you go along. I am happy for us to be in touch after you have done each class for a little check-in. Let me know how you are, what is coming up for you. We can write to each other or even using the voice recording function on What’s App can be really helpful. Please download What’s App if you do not have it and I will give you my number.

ARE THE VIDEOS PRE-RECORDED WITH ANOTHER GROUP? 

Yes, these videos were made via Zoom with a live group. You will occasionally hear the other women speaking, but only by first name and without any video. Only my video is recorded. 

IS THERE A MANUAL OR NOTES PROVIDED?

Yes! I will email you a manual when you are ready to start. Please save it to your computer or device. I suggest that you DO NOT read ahead because it can get overwhelming :) Just take it one class at a time. There is theory (which we talk about each class) and also a few exercises selected from our class together in case you like to practice. I suggest to read the relevant lesson AFTER you have taken the class. 

IS THERE A TIME LIMIT THAT I HAVE ACCESS TO THESE RECORDINGS? 

No, you will have indefinite access to the videos via Dropbox. I ask that you please do not share these videos with anyone else.

WHAT PROPS DO I NEED FOR THESE SESSIONS?

It is helpful if you have a yoga mat, 2 blocks, a bolster and for some classes, an empty space on the wall.
