Launching this February is a new holistic center, VedaYoga, which is designed for modern busy lifestyles, focusing on delivering a holistic journey for the improvement of body and mind. By combining ancient wisdoms of Yoga and Ayurveda, VedaYoga has developed a unique platform for fitness, nutrition and natural beauty personalised to individual requirements and balance.
I’m very excited to be a part of their opening! On Saturday 2nd March, I will be offering a 2-hr workshop: Urban Ayurveda - a Modern Way to Experience an Ancient Science, one of my favourite workshops to share!
During this introductory workshop, we will deep dive into the fundamentals of Ayurveda as viewed from a modern perspective, with emphasis on the 5-Elements. This introduction will be particularly useful for those wishing to gain insights into this ancient healing science, as well as to integrate Ayurvedic wisdom into their daily practices so as to create harmony within their inner and outer environments, living naturally and holistically.
WHAT WE WILL COVER IN THIS WORKSHOP:
What is Ayurveda?
Philosophy of Ayurveda
The 5-Elements
TriDosha Theory
Doshas and Physiology
Agni and Ama
Prakriti (Birth Constitution)
Vikriti (Current State)
Though Ayurveda is a complex, in-depth healing system, we can easily integrate the essence of Ayurveda into our daily lives in a simple, foundational way, that extends beyond culture or experience. This workshop is a great way to begin a foundational understanding of Ayurveda.
